Dear SUNX Users,
We would like to provide the following update on the service disruption that began at 23:00 on October 20, 2026 (UTC+8).
1. Updated Information on the Cause
According to the latest feedback from our service provider, the disruption involved an upgrade to AWS’s internal risk control system, which resulted in the suspension of the relevant cloud service account and affected some of the platform’s core services. Current findings indicate that the disruption was not caused by a software fault in the platform’s own systems. This explanation updates the preliminary assessment in our earlier announcement.
2. Services Are Gradually Being Restored
Platform services are currently being restored in stages. Our technical team continues to carry out restoration and verification work, and normal operations have not yet been fully restored.
SUNX continues to coordinate with AWS through our service provider and has requested priority handling of the issue. As some restoration work remains subject to AWS’s internal procedures, we are currently unable to provide a reliable estimated time for full recovery.
3. Next Steps
SUNX will continue to monitor progress and provide timely updates through official channels. Once the affected services have been fully restored and verified, we will promptly announce the recovery and compensation arrangements.
We sincerely apologize again for the impact and inconvenience caused by this disruption. Thank you for your understanding and patience.
SUNX Team
