Dear Merchants,
SUNX hereby provides the following arrangements regarding the migration of the USDT token contract to USDT0 on the Optimism network. CipherBC will provide technical support for this migration. Relevant merchants should note the deposit and withdrawal adjustment schedule and complete the consolidation and migration of assets held under the old contract as required.
I. Closure of Deposits and Withdrawals for the Old Contract
At 18:00 on September 24, 2026 (UTC+8), deposits and withdrawals for the old USDT contract on the Optimism network will be closed.
Please make the necessary business arrangements in advance and promptly update deposit entry points and related notices to avoid continued use of the old contract for deposits and withdrawals.
II. Migration of Existing Assets
Please complete the consolidation and migration of assets held under the old contract before 18:00 on September 30, 2026 (UTC+8). If migration support is required, please contact CipherBC for assistance.
The migration process is as follows:
1. Old Optimism USDT → Ethereum USDT
Use the official Optimism Bridge to withdraw the old USDT from Optimism L2 to Ethereum L1, and complete the withdrawal proof and finalization.
2. Ethereum USDT → Optimism USDT0
After confirming receipt of USDT on Ethereum L1, use the USDT0 Transfer Hub, select Ethereum → Optimism, and complete the approval and cross-chain transfer to receive the new USDT0 on the Optimism network.
3. Request Activation of the New Contract
After completing the migration, promptly contact CipherBC to request activation of the new USDT0 contract on the Optimism network to reduce the impact on related business operations.
III. Contract Swap and Responsibilities
The contract swap will be conducted at a 1:1 ratio.
CipherBC will handle the technical requirements involved in this migration. Merchants are responsible for consolidating and migrating assets held under the old contract.

IV. Deposit and Withdrawal Support After Migration
After the contract migration is completed, CipherBC will support deposits and withdrawals only through the new contract on the Optimism network. Deposit and withdrawal channels for the old USDT contract will no longer be supported.
Once the new contract is activated, relevant merchants should check their business configurations and deposit/withdrawal information to ensure that the correct network and token contract are used.
V. Important Reminders
- Note the closure time: Once deposits and withdrawals for the old contract are closed, do not continue depositing or withdrawing through that contract.
- Complete the migration on time: Consolidate and migrate assets held under the old contract within the specified deadline, and promptly request activation of the new contract.
- Verify the network and contract: Before depositing, carefully check the selected network, token contract, and recipient address. The token contract addresses above must not be used as deposit recipient addresses.
- Be aware of potential asset loss: USDT deposits made through the old contract after its deposit and withdrawal services are closed will not be credited and may result in permanent loss of funds.
