Dear SUNX Users,
To help you understand and use the Reverse Position feature, the following explains how it works, how to use it, and the precautions to consider.
1. Feature Overview
The Reverse Position feature closes the selected position and opens a new position in the opposite direction with the same position size, simplifying the process of changing your trading direction.
When you hold a long or short position, go to “My Positions,” select the relevant position, and click “Reverse Position.” Review the order details and complete the confirmation.
After confirmation, the system will perform the following steps in sequence:
- Close the original position: The selected position will be closed at the best available market price.
- Open the reverse position: A new position of the same size will be opened in the opposite direction at the best available market price.
For a long position, this means closing the long and opening a short. For a short position, this means closing the short and opening a long.
2. Usage Precautions
- Leverage cannot be adjusted while positions are open
Currently, leverage cannot be adjusted while you have open positions. Please check your current leverage setting before proceeding.
- Monitor changes in margin and estimated liquidation price
After reversing a position, the average execution price and position value may change. Please promptly review the new position’s margin, estimated liquidation price, and related risk indicators.
- Actual execution depends on market conditions
Reversing a position involves two trading steps: closing the existing position and opening an opposite position. Actual execution prices may vary due to market volatility, liquidity, and order size.
- Exercise caution with large positions
Digital asset markets can be highly volatile. When holding a large position, assess market depth and execution risks carefully before using this feature.
3. Risk Warning
The Reverse Position feature is a trading tool for changing position direction. It does not guarantee execution prices or trading returns. Before proceeding, check the position direction, size, and leverage, set appropriate take-profit and stop-loss levels, and continuously monitor your account and position risks.
