Dear SUNX Users,
Welcome to SUNX! To help you quickly understand our trading products, contract trading rules, and commonly used features, we have prepared this guide for your reference before you begin trading.
1. About SUNX
SUNX is a digital asset derivatives trading platform serving users worldwide. It is developed and operated by an international team with experience in blockchain, trading systems, risk control, settlement, and security management.
Guided by the principles of compliance, professionalism, and user friendliness, SUNX puts users first and continuously improves its products and services to provide a secure, stable, and convenient digital asset trading experience.
2. Trading Products
1. Perpetual Contracts
Perpetual contracts have no expiration or delivery date. Users can choose to go long or short based on their market outlook.
SUNX perpetual contracts offer various trading settings, including adjustable leverage from 1× to 200× and switching between margin units. The supported leverage range and settings are subject to the information displayed on the relevant trading instrument’s page.
2. Quick Contracts
Quick Contracts are contract derivatives offered by SUNX. Their position-opening and closing procedures and main functions are broadly similar to those of perpetual contracts, with a focus on convenient order placement and fast execution.
Users can choose products according to their trading needs and should understand the execution mechanisms, fees, and risk rules before placing orders.
3. Futures Grid
Futures Grid is a strategy tool that automatically executes trades within a specified price range.
After users set the upper price limit, lower price limit, and number of grids, the system automatically places orders according to the grid rules, buying low and selling high or selling high and buying low as the market fluctuates.
Futures Grid supports USDT-margined contracts. Available trading instruments are subject to those displayed on the strategy page. Grid strategies do not guarantee profits. Losses may occur when the market moves outside the specified range or continues in a sustained one-way trend.
4. Bonus Contracts
Bonus Contracts allow users to trade using bonuses provided by the platform. Users can obtain bonuses by completing tasks, participating in promotions, or receiving rewards distributed by the platform from time to time.
Eligible trading profits can be transferred to the futures wallet. The permitted uses, validity periods, and profit transfer conditions of bonuses are subject to the applicable task or promotion rules.
3. Margin Modes
1. Cross Margin Mode
In Cross Margin mode, available funds in the futures account serve as shared margin for all positions. Unrealized PnL affects the account’s overall available margin and risk level.
Cross Margin mode allows positions to share account funds, but losses on one position may affect other positions. The maximum loss may reach 100% of the funds in the futures account.
Important Notes:
- Cross Margin mode has no default stop-loss. Please set a stop-loss according to your trading needs.
- When the account’s risk ratio is equal to or below 10%, the system will trigger liquidation.
- You cannot switch to Isolated Margin mode while Cross Margin positions or pending orders exist. The relevant positions and orders must be resolved first.
2. Isolated Margin Mode
In Isolated Margin mode, margin and PnL are calculated independently for each order. The maximum loss on an individual order is limited to its allocated margin and does not affect the margin of other orders.
When a position meets the take-profit, stop-loss, or liquidation conditions, the system will close it according to the applicable rules.
Important Notes:
- The default stop-loss percentage in Isolated Margin mode is 90%.
- When a position’s loss reaches 90% of its margin, including trading fees and funding fees, the system will trigger liquidation.
- The maximum loss from liquidation is 100% of the margin allocated to that position.
- You cannot switch to Cross Margin mode while Isolated Margin positions or pending orders exist. The relevant positions and orders must be resolved first.
4. Three Order Types
1. Market Orders
Market orders are matched at currently available market prices and are suitable for users seeking to execute trades as quickly as possible.
The actual execution price depends on market liquidity and order size and may differ from the price displayed when the order was placed.
2. Limit Orders
Users specify the order price for a limit order. The system will only match the order at the specified price or a better price.
The market reaching the limit price does not guarantee immediate execution. Actual execution also depends on market liquidity and the order’s position in the queue.
3. Trigger Orders
Trigger orders require a trigger price and an order type to be used after triggering:
- Trigger Price: The system triggers the order when the latest market price reaches this price.
- Order Type After Triggering: Users can select a market or limit order, which will be executed according to the corresponding order rules.
A trigger order being triggered does not mean it has been filled. Execution remains subject to margin requirements and the applicable order conditions.
5. Take-Profit and Stop-Loss Settings
SUNX supports take-profit and stop-loss settings based on price or percentage.
Price-Based Settings: When the latest market price reaches the preset take-profit or stop-loss price, the corresponding closing order is triggered.
Percentage-Based Settings: When a position’s profit or loss reaches the preset percentage, the corresponding closing order is triggered.
Reminders:
- Cross Margin mode has no default stop-loss. Please set one manually and review it regularly.
- The default stop-loss percentage in Isolated Margin mode is 90%.
- After a take-profit or stop-loss is triggered, the actual execution price may still be affected by market volatility and liquidity.
6. Community Copy Trading
SUNX Community Copy Trading allows users to select traders and follow their trading activities according to their copy trading settings.
Users can view trader information on the community page and select one or more traders to follow.
Usage Notes:
- Copy trading supports Cross Margin mode for perpetual contracts.
- A trader’s past performance does not indicate future returns. Copy trading also involves the risk of losses and liquidation.
7. Task Center and Bonus Usage
Users can view and complete tasks in the Task Center to receive bonus rewards upon meeting the relevant requirements.
Task Categories Include:
- New User Tasks
- Growth Tasks
- Promotional Tasks
Bonuses can be used in platform-designated trading scenarios, including Unlimited Mode. Eligible trading profits can be transferred to the futures wallet. Specific usage and transfer conditions are subject to the instructions on the relevant page.
8. Common Position Management Features
Depending on the trading product and the features supported on the position page, you can manage positions using the following functions:
- Modify take-profit and stop-loss settings
- Partially close a position
- Reverse a position
- Add to a position
- Close all positions with one click
Before performing an operation, check the position direction, size, margin, and estimated fees to avoid errors.
9. Risk Warning
Digital asset contract trading involves significant risk, and leverage can amplify both profits and losses. Before trading, please ensure that you understand the product mechanisms, fee schedules, and liquidation rules. Allocate funds, position sizes, and leverage according to your risk tolerance, and continuously monitor your account risk.
