Dear Users,
To help you understand the risks associated with bank account freezing and transaction restrictions, and strengthen awareness of fund security and compliance, SUNX provides the following guidance on prevention and handling.
No preventive measure can guarantee that a bank account will not be frozen. Comply with local laws, regulations, and bank rules, truthfully explain the transaction background and source of funds, and do not use transfers, withdrawals, or purchases of investment products to evade scrutiny of funds.
I. What Is Bank Account Freezing?
Bank account freezing or transaction restrictions refer to measures taken by a bank or relevant authority to restrict some or all account functions. These may include restrictions on transfers, withdrawals, non-counter services, or the use of relevant funds.
The reasons, scope, and handling procedures may differ. An on-screen notification alone cannot establish whether an account is connected to a case.
If you notice an account abnormality, first confirm the circumstances through the bank’s official channels.
II. Common Causes and Risks
1. Bank Risk Management Measures
Banks may restrict certain account functions because identity information requires updating, transactions appear unusual, the source of funds needs verification, or other risk management requirements apply.
The reasons and conditions for restoring access are subject to the bank’s verification.
2. Freezing Measures Taken by Relevant Authorities
Accounts may be frozen due to civil disputes, case investigations, or other measures taken according to law.
Receiving funds connected to fraud or other illegal activities may bring an account under investigation. Relevant authorities shall determine any involvement in unlawful activity, the scope of freezing, and subsequent handling according to law.
3. Local Laws and Banking Restrictions
Requirements for digital asset transactions and related banking services may differ across countries or regions.
Before trading, confirm your eligibility to use the relevant services and understand your account-holding bank’s rules. Using Platform services does not mean that the bank will necessarily accept the transactions.
III. Risk Prevention Before Trading
1. Verify Registered Identity Information
Use payment and receiving accounts lawfully held in your own name. Check whether the counterparty’s verified identity matches the name on the actual paying account.
Do not rent or lend bank cards, receive or make payments on behalf of others, or provide fund-transfer intermediary services.
2. Handle Third-Party Payments Cautiously
If the paying account name does not match the counterparty’s verified identity, suspend further actions, preserve records, and contact Platform support and the bank for verification.
Do not refund the payment to a different account at the counterparty’s request. If a refund is necessary, confirm the procedure first and use a bank-approved channel to return it to the original paying account. If funds are restricted or suspected to be connected to a case, first follow the bank’s and investigating authority’s requirements.
3. Record and Explain Transactions Truthfully
Accurately record the purpose of the transaction. Do not use false payment descriptions to conceal its nature or state “payment sent by mistake” when it was not an erroneous transfer.
If the bank requests an explanation of the source of funds or transaction background, provide truthful information. Do not forge, conceal, or alter supporting documents.
4. Preserve Complete Transaction Evidence
Keep the following securely:
- Platform order numbers and transaction details;
- Bank payment and receipt records;
- Communications with the counterparty;
- Digital asset transfer records and transaction hashes;
- Evidence of the source of funds and transaction background.
5. Be Alert to Unusual Requests
If the counterparty requests third-party accounts, split payments, off-platform trading, or payments on behalf of others, remain vigilant and verify first.
Arrange funds appropriately and do not use a trading receipt account as an intermediary account for others’ funds.
IV. Do Not Use “Fund Filtering” to Evade Risks
Transferring funds to Alipay, investment platforms, or other bank accounts, withdrawing after purchasing investment products, or withdrawing cash and redepositing it does not change the source of funds or guarantee protection against freezing or investigation.
Do not conceal fund movements or evade scrutiny by frequently changing cards, dispersing transfers, or converting funds into cash.
If the source of funds appears suspicious, preserve evidence and promptly contact the bank, Platform support, or relevant authorities. Follow their instructions.
V. Handling Restricted or Frozen Accounts
1. Confirm the Situation with the Bank
Contact the bank through its official customer service number or counter and obtain available information, including:
- The specific restriction or freezing type;
- Affected functions, amounts, and scope;
- The institution imposing the measure;
- Start and end dates and any additional restrictions;
- Required documents and follow-up contact channels.
2. Cooperate with Bank Verification
For bank risk management measures, provide identity documents, explanations of fund sources, transaction evidence, and other necessary documents as required.
The bank determines whether account functions are restored and the processing time based on the actual circumstances.
3. Cooperate with Investigating Authorities
For freezing imposed by relevant authorities according to law, verify the investigating authority and contact details. Submit documents, explain transactions, and cooperate as required.
If you believe the freezing is erroneous or excessive in scope, ask the relevant authority about procedures to request verification, release, or adjustment. Consult a qualified lawyer if necessary.
Do not assume that freezing will end within a fixed number of hours or one week, or immediately transfer funds after restoration to evade further investigation.
4. Beware of “Paid Unfreezing” Scams
Do not trust strangers claiming they can quickly unfreeze accounts through internal connections, security deposits, or service fees.
Use official bank and investigating authority channels. Do not disclose passwords or verification codes.
VI. Platform Records and Cooperation with Judicial Authorities
To request Platform trading records relating to your account, contact SUNX’s official customer support and complete the required identity verification.
Judicial authorities seeking evidence or lawful handling of funds involving the Platform should provide the relevant legal documents and contact the Platform directly.

The Platform will handle requests according to applicable law, legal documents, and verification results. It cannot decide account unfreezing on behalf of banks or investigating authorities, or guarantee outcomes or timing.
VII. Important Notice
This announcement explains freezing risks and general prevention and handling procedures. It is not legal advice and does not guarantee that accounts will remain unfrozen or be released within a particular period.
Specific requirements are governed by local law, the account-holding bank’s rules, and formal notices from relevant authorities.
Use accounts under your real identity, truthfully explain fund sources, preserve complete records, and cooperate with lawful investigations.
