III. Advantages of Perpetual Contracts
1. No Fixed Expiration Date
Perpetual contracts do not require periodic rollover. Provided margin requirements are met and the contract is trading normally, users may determine their holding period according to their strategies.
2. Trading in Both Directions
Users may go long or short based on their market assessment, allowing flexible trading and risk hedging. Both directions carry the risk of loss.
3. Margin Trading for More Flexible Fund Allocation
Within the permitted leverage range, users may use margin to establish positions of the corresponding size. Leverage amplifies returns as well as losses and forced liquidation risk.
IV. Risk Warning and Risk Management Recommendations
Perpetual contracts are high-risk derivatives involving market volatility, leverage, forced liquidation, and liquidity risks. Leverage amplifies both potential returns and trading losses. Before participating, fully understand the product features and trading rules and make prudent decisions based on your investment experience, financial circumstances, and risk tolerance.
- Manage leverage and position size appropriately: Allocate funds according to your risk tolerance and avoid excessive leverage or overly concentrated positions.
- Plan take-profit and stop-loss settings in advance: Set them according to your trading objectives and risk tolerance, understand order trigger conditions and execution rules, and monitor order status promptly.
- Manage margin carefully: Understand your selected margin mode, liquidation price calculation, and trigger criteria. Continuously monitor market changes, account risk indicators, and margin levels.
- Assess holding costs comprehensively: Understand trading fees, funding rates, and settlement intervals, and include these costs in your trading plan.
- Monitor ongoing position risks: No fixed expiration date does not mean positions can be held safely indefinitely. Insufficient margin may trigger forced liquidation and substantial losses.
SunX will continue optimizing its trading products to provide users with more diverse, efficient, and professional trading services.
Thank you for your support and trust in SUNX.
