3. Product advantages of perpetual contracts
1. No fixed expiry date
Perpetual contracts do not require regular contract rollovers. As long as margin requirements are met and the contract is trading normally, users can determine their holding period based on their own strategies.
2. Support for two-way trading
Users can choose to go long or short based on their market outlook, allowing them to trade and hedge risks flexibly. Both long and short trading involve the risk of loss.
3. Margin trading for more flexible fund allocation
Users can establish positions of a corresponding size using margin within the permitted leverage range. While leverage can amplify returns, it can also amplify losses and the risk of forced liquidation.
4. Risk warnings and risk management recommendations
Perpetual contracts are high-risk derivatives involving risks such as market volatility, leverage, forced liquidation, and liquidity. Leverage amplifies both potential returns and trading losses. Before participating, please fully understand the product features and trading rules, and make prudent decisions based on your investment experience, financial situation, and risk tolerance.
- Control leverage and position size appropriately: Allocate funds based on your risk tolerance and avoid excessive leverage and overly concentrated positions.
- Plan take-profit and stop-loss levels in advance: Set take-profit and stop-loss levels appropriately based on your trading objectives and risk tolerance, fully understand order trigger conditions and execution rules, and monitor order status in a timely manner.
- Manage margin properly: Understand the selected margin mode, how the liquidation price is calculated, and the basis for its triggering. Continuously monitor market changes, account risk indicators, and margin levels.
- Assess holding costs comprehensively: Fully understand trading fees, funding rates, and settlement cycles, and include the relevant costs in your trading plan.
- Be aware of the risks of holding positions continuously: Having no fixed expiry date does not mean that positions can be held safely indefinitely. Insufficient margin may trigger forced liquidation and result in significant losses.
SUNX will continue to optimise its platform’s trading products to provide users with richer, more efficient, and more professional trading services.
Thank you for your support and trust in SUNX.
