III. Advantages of Perpetual Futures Contracts
1. No Fixed Expiration Date
Perpetual futures contracts do not require periodic contract rollovers. Provided that margin requirements are met and the contract continues to trade normally, users may determine how long to hold their positions according to their own trading strategies.
2. Support for Two-Way Trading
Users may choose to open long or short positions based on their market outlook, allowing for flexible trading and risk hedging. However, both trading directions involve the risk of losses.
3. Margin Trading for Greater Capital Flexibility
Users may use margin to establish positions of corresponding sizes within the permitted leverage range. While leverage can amplify potential profits, it also increases losses and the risk of forced liquidation.
IV. Risk Warning and Risk Management Recommendations
Perpetual futures contracts are high-risk derivative products involving risks such as market volatility, leverage, forced liquidation, and liquidity. Leverage can amplify both potential returns and trading losses.
Before participating, users should fully understand the product features and trading rules and make prudent decisions based on their investment experience, financial circumstances, and risk tolerance.
- Manage Leverage and Position Sizes Appropriately: Allocate funds according to your risk tolerance and avoid excessive leverage and overly concentrated positions.
- Establish Take-Profit and Stop-Loss Plans in Advance: Set appropriate take-profit and stop-loss levels based on your trading objectives and risk tolerance. Fully understand order trigger conditions and execution rules, and monitor order status in a timely manner.
- Maintain Proper Margin Management: Understand the selected margin mode, the calculation method for liquidation prices, and the conditions that trigger forced liquidation. Continuously monitor market changes, account risk indicators, and margin levels.
- Evaluate Position Holding Costs Comprehensively: Fully understand trading fees, funding rates, and settlement intervals, and incorporate the associated costs into your trading plan.
- Be Aware of Ongoing Position Holding Risks: The absence of a fixed expiration date does not mean positions can be held safely indefinitely. Insufficient margin may trigger forced liquidation and result in significant losses.
SUNX will continue to optimize its trading products to provide users with more diverse, efficient, and professional trading services.
