3. Advantages of Perpetual Contracts
1. No Fixed Expiration Date
Perpetual contracts do not require periodic rollover. Users may arrange their holding periods according to their strategies, provided that margin requirements are met and the contract remains available for normal trading.
2. Support for Long and Short Positions
Users may choose to go long or short based on their market outlook, allowing flexible trading and hedging. Both directions carry a risk of loss.
3. Margin Trading for More Flexible Capital Allocation
Users may establish positions using margin within the permitted leverage range. While leverage amplifies potential returns, it also amplifies losses and liquidation risk.
4. Risk Notice and Risk Management Recommendations
Perpetual contracts are high-risk derivatives involving market volatility, leverage, liquidation, and liquidity risks. Leverage amplifies both potential returns and trading losses. Before participating, please fully understand the product features and trading rules, and make prudent decisions based on your investment experience, financial circumstances, and risk tolerance.
- Manage Leverage and Position Size: Allocate funds according to your risk tolerance and avoid excessive leverage or overly concentrated positions.
- Plan Take-Profit and Stop-Loss Measures in Advance: Set appropriate take-profit and stop-loss levels based on your trading objectives and risk tolerance. Fully understand order trigger conditions and execution rules, and monitor order status promptly.
- Manage Margin Carefully: Understand your selected margin mode, liquidation price calculation, and liquidation triggers. Continuously monitor market changes, account risk indicators, and margin levels.
- Evaluate Holding Costs: Fully understand trading fees, funding rates, and settlement intervals, and incorporate these costs into your trading plan.
- Monitor the Risks of Continued Holding: Having no fixed expiration date does not mean a position can be held safely indefinitely. Insufficient margin may trigger liquidation and result in substantial losses.
Thank you for your support and trust in SUNX.
