After selecting a trader to follow, you must edit the copy trading settings to complete the setup.
Copy Trading Settings
Fixed Amount: Place trades according to the amount set by the trader.
Fixed copy amount – The system will open positions based on the margin set by the user for each trade. For example, if a user sets the margin as 20 USDT per trade, the system will calculate the position size based on 20 USDT each time a trade is triggered. Maximum position limit – Set a maximum position amount. If the total positions following the trader exceed this limit, the copy trade will fail.
Smart Ratio: Trades are placed proportionally based on the trader’s position size relative to the user’s capital (default 100 USDT).
Investment amount – Must be less than or equal to the user’s contract account balance. Example: User A sets an investment of 1000 USDT. The trader’s total contract assets are 10,000 USDT, and the trader opens a position of 5,000 USDT. Then User A will open a position of 500 USDT.
Take Profit / Stop Loss: Set the maximum profit or loss ratio when enabling copy trading.
Scenario 1: User A sets a TP/SL ratio of 30%, and the trader has no TP/SL set. The copied position will not have TP/SL. Scenario 2: User A has no TP/SL set, and the trader sets 30%. The copied position will automatically close when profit or loss reaches 30%. Scenario 3: User A sets 40%, and the trader sets 30%. The copied position will close at 30%. Scenario 4: User A sets 30%, and the trader sets 40%. The copied position will close at 40%.
Stopping Copy Trading
After starting copy trading, click “Close” or “Delete” in the contract trading copy list to stop following.
Deleting a trader’s copy trading will remove them from your copy trading list.
Notes:
Once copy trading is started, as long as the trader opens a position (except when the maximum position limit is reached), the user will follow the trader’s actions. Refer to the “User Margin Limit Instructions” for details. The user’s margin mode must match the trader’s settings – Perpetual contracts only support isolated margin mode; Quick contracts support both isolated and cross margin modes. SunX does not support following both perpetual and quick contracts simultaneously.
